Capturing honest, heartfelt family moments across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs, from beach walks and bushland adventures to cosy in-home or studio sessions - I’m here to tell your story, just as it is.

Life with little ones is beautifully full… chaotic, loud, messy, tender, and deeply nostalgic. It’s a kind of love that takes you by surprise and stays with you forever.

My approach to family photography is natural and relaxed, gently guided when needed, but always led by your children. I don’t expect little ones to sit still or perform,  I welcome their wild, curious energy. Our sessions are easy, playful, and filled with connection. I’ll meet your children where they are, getting down to their level, chatting, playing, and building trust so they can simply be themselves.

That’s where the magic lives - in the in-between moments, the laughter, the movement, the quiet closeness.

My intention is to capture your family as you truly are. Your bond, your rhythm, the little details that make your story uniquely yours. These images become more than photographs… they are a way to hold onto this fleeting season, a keepsake for your children, and a legacy for the generations to come.

Because long after the days blur and memories soften, these moments remain, ready to take you right back.

  • When we meet, I take a little time to get to know you - and just as importantly, to allow you and your family to feel comfortable with me. There’s no rush… we ease into the session gently so everyone can relax.

    If we’re photographing in your home, I’ll quietly look for the most beautiful light and the spaces that will work best for your session.

    Throughout our time together, I offer gentle guidance - softly directing you into light or prompting connection in a way that feels natural and effortless. I’ll interact with you and your family so everyone feels at ease, never stiff or unsure.

    My sessions are relaxed and unforced. I don’t overly pose or chase perfect smiles - instead, I focus on capturing the real, honest moments as they naturally unfold.

  • It happens - and truly, it’s nothing to worry about.

    Children are wonderfully unpredictable, and that’s part of what makes your session so real and meaningful. Of course, it helps if little ones are well-rested, fed, and comfortable before we begin… but beyond that, we simply meet them where they are.

    The magic doesn’t come from perfectly posed smiles (I have tricks up my sleeve to get those too), but it comes from connection.

    How you hold them, comfort them, laugh with them, and gently guide them… that’s what creates the most beautiful, honest images. Even in the messier, louder moments, there is so much love to capture.

    I’ll take the lead in keeping things relaxed and playful, turning any moment into something special. This is where my experience helps embracing the chaos and transforming it into something you’ll treasure.

    You will never be left wondering what to do - that’s my role, and I’ll be right there with you every step of the way. I gently guide you throughout the session so you feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely at ease.

    There’s no pressure to “perform” or get it perfect. I focus on creating a natural flow, helping you connect with your children and each other, so everything feels effortless.

    It’s this balance of guidance and genuine moments that allows me to create consistently beautiful, story-filled galleries.

  • The best thing is to keep it simple, timeless, and comfortable - clothing that lets your family feel like themselves. Soft, neutral tones and coordinating colours work beautifully, keeping the focus on your connection rather than busy patterns or logos. For little ones, comfort is key so outfits that let them move, play, and be themselves always look best, and layers can be handy for variety or adapting to the weather.

    The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and like yourself on the day. I usually suggest avoiding bright, harsh colours, strong patterns, or logos that can distract from the beautiful moments we’re capturing.

    For mums and girls, flowing fabrics with a little movement can look especially lovely, particularly for outdoor sessions.

    I will talk with you about styling before your session and provide inspiration as well as offer you access to my client wardrobe for mums.
    The goal is simple - for your family to look and feel like… you. That’s what makes your photos truly timeless and authentic.

  • Our session is going to take place around Melbourne :) So a bit of drizzle is not a problem – and a cloudy sky can add some gorgeous atmosphere and emotion to your photos. However, pouring rain is best avoided. We will reschedule and find another date if your photoshoot is going to be a washout. If heavy rain is predicted I will check in with you a day or so in advance and we can work together to find another time for you.
